President Jakaya Kikwete has appointed Jacqueline
Maleko as the new Director General for the Tanzania Trade Development
Authority (Tantrade). Before the appointment, Maleko was acting in the
position.
A statement from the State House quoted the Chief Secretary, Ambassador Ombeni Sefue, saying the new appointment is with effect from September 10, 2013.
According to the Chief Secretary, Maleko worked as deputy Director for markets in the ministry of Industries of Trade.
